Call me old fashioned, but their is something special about finding a long forgotton treasure amongst what some people deem to be "junk". The very idea has always fascinated me, searching for what once was a beautiful thing and breathing life into it again. Its not only the idea of saving something so old, but also the fact that it is so unique. Anyone can go to the store and buy that designer dress or pay a fortune for a beautiful chair, but buy it vintage & it's far and few between :-) So this blog is a way of collecting and sharing ideas, and beautiful things, inspiration and my love for all things vintage and beautiful :-) And as the world slowly turns to organics and recycling, I secretly hope that "vintage" never catches on..where would the fun in collecting one off pieces be, if everybody did it?!
